CMPartners is a negotiation and conflict management consulting firm headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts specializing in providing advice, coaching, training, and support across the full spectrum of negotiation-related challenges for a select group of clients in the corporate, governmental, and public sectors worldwide. CMPartners professionals come from an array of backgrounds which include law, psychology, business, government, management, operations and education. Capitalizing on their cumulative expertise, they develop, practice and share tools and skills for the strategic management of critical business, political and personal interactions through the design and delivery of world-class training and coaching to organizations and their leadership.

CMPartners prides itself on developing close, long-term partnerships with their clients, acting as an advisor and trainer on negotiation, conflict management, communication and the management of strategic external and internal relationships. CMPartners works together with each client to develop programs which are specific to each organization by addressing their most current short-term and long-term negotiation and communication needs.

CMPartners evolved from Conflict Management, Inc. (CMI) and its sister non-profit organization Conflict Management Group (CMG), founded in 1984. CMPartners is ever-grateful to their founder, mentor and friend Professor Emeritus Roger Fisher, Harvard Law School. Professor Fisher also founded the Harvard Negotiation Project, and wrote such seminal works as Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In, Beyond Machiavelli, Getting It Done: How to Lead When You’re Not in Charge; Getting Together: Building Relationships As We Negotiate; and Beyond Reason.

CMPartners has offices in Cambridge Massachusetts, New York City, and Washington D.C., with affiliates in Singapore and the Middle East.
