Data Wise DVD
We worked with Harvard’s Graduate School of Education to produce a DVD and several videos as part of a package to introduce educators to Data Wise, an innovative approach that helps teachers get beyond the numbers amassed through standardized testing programs and use the data to actually improve their teaching practice. A central premise is that teams of teachers must have a good understanding of what current instruction looks like in order to improve it. The most direct approach to developing this collective knowledge is to have teachers observe one another's practice. The purpose of this DVD is to provide school leaders with a set of tools for developing teachers' capacity for learning from their own and each other’s practice.
